Supreme Court refuses interim relief to ‘Tandava’ team: The Supreme Court on Wednesday refused to grant interim relief from the arrest of Ali Abbas Zafar, director of the web series ‘Tandav’ and others. The Supreme Court said, “Freedom of speech and expression is not complete.” And it is subject to certain restrictions. The Supreme Court said that Ali Abbas Zafar, Amazon Prime India chief Aparna Purohit and producer Himanshu Mehra, show writer Gaurav Solanki and actor Mohammad Zeeshan Ayub can request bail from the courts concerned in the FIRs filed in connection with the web series. A bench of Justice Ashok Bhushan, Justice R Subhash Reddy and Justice MR Shah was hearing three separate petitions from the makers and others associated with the Wes series. Bollywood actors Saif Ali Khan, Dipal Kapadia and Mohammad Zeeshan in ‘Tandav’ Ayub has worked.
